Take ownership of automation initiatives for complex projects, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with other departments. Conducts complex quality control tests and analyses to ensure that applications meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements. Supports application/system implementation, modification and on-going maintenance projects for financial services, investments and/or support areas. What you will do - Perform complex analysis of business, system and end-user requirements and determines appropriate testing scale and scope within assigned areas/projects - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. Create robust and scalable test automation frameworks and scripts independently. - Expertise in design and development of complex automated test scripts. - Lead the execution of automated test cases and interpret the results to identify issues. - Identify, document, and manage software defects to resolution. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC. - Assist with building automation strategies - Assist in integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. - Mentor junior test automation engineers and provide technical guidance. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and implement improvements. Participate in innovation efforts such as AI. - Assist in setting automation best practices. - Assist in documenting training materials and provide trainings on automation tools and frameworks. What you will bring - 5-8 years overall testing experience with 2-4 years in automation testing or equivalent automation training - Strong proficiency in Java programming language (Core concepts) - Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. - Strong understanding of end-to-end testing approach, and end user requirements - UI Automation: Good experience with test automation tools Selenium, JUnit, TestNG. - Good experience with Jira - Experience in using version control systems (e.g., Git). - Firm understanding of Gherkin test scenarios and feature files - Strong and effective communication skills. - Experience in effectively working/managing relationships - Strong experience with SQL database querying - Excellent analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills, with an excellent ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex design and issues. BRGs are open to all. Base Salary Range $87,400.00 - $123,400.00 The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
