The NetScaler Product Technology Specialist (NetScaler-PTS) has an opportunity to interact with customers through the entire lifecycle of our solution. This engagement during the pre-sales cycle and follows the customer journey throughout license duration identifying solutions to satisfy business needs while utilizing customer license entitlements. Our technology suite spans private and public clouds, allowing customers to achieve higher availability while leveraging trusted, secure solutions. In this role, you will participate with Enterprise account teams and customers with a well established industry technology, NetScaler! This role is remote, with travel opportunities to customers and industry-related events while interacting with a broader team of Account Executives, Account Technology Specialists, and Enterprise Architects. Primary Duties/Responsibilities - Discuss/Identify appropriate NetScaler (Application Delivery Controller) related solutions tailored to client requirements. - Identify/Engage with stakeholders to assess business needs and recommend suitable NetScaler architectures. - Collaborate with account teams to provide technical expertise during client engagements. - Explain enhanced values of leveraging NetScaler as part of the overall Citrix solution, including the defense in depth approach, improved observability leveraging automation tools, and reference architecture functions to improve the general availability of Citrix farm. - Decipher complicated technical situations with customers while focusing on the business value. - Develop/maintain relationships with technical resources at all levels of a customer organization. - Articulate the value proposition around NetScaler with customers through whiteboards, slides, etc. - Mentor newer employees as part of onboarding recruits. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience - 8+ years of pre-sales experience in hardware/software technology, with a record of success in driving customer adoption of technology - Must reside in the geographic area, travel to customer locations, and attend corporate meetings as appropriate. - Hands-on experience in either NetScaler or competitive landscape products. A background in Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops is a plus. - Solid understanding of OSI Layers, including dynamic routing protocols and/or equivalent certification(s) (i.e., CCNP, etc.) - Solid understanding of Internet standard protocols, including HTTP, HTTPS/SSL, and DNS. - Basic understanding of security solutions and how they align with OSI stack. - - Preferred Qualifications: - Strong programming background to assist in identifying use case examples leveraging NetScaler Application Programming Interface (API) with Application Developers. - Understanding of Public cloud architectures, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Familiarity with provisioning environments, including IP assignments and automation via provisioning tools - Basic/advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, including 3rd party implementations of open-source solutions. Familiarity with common vendors as part of the CNCF landscape.
