Overview Director Saas Services leads the strategy, implementation, and optimization of software development and infrastructure operations to improve delivery speed, reliability, and security. They bridge engineering and business teams, managing DevOps engineers while fostering a culture of automation, cloud governance, and continuous improvement Responsibilities Mentoring: - Leverage experience to help mentor teammates and peers that have less experience with cloud and automation. - Mentor teammates on Cloud concepts, AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes. Consult / Design: - Perform automation of recurring tasks via Terraform, CICD pipelines, scripting and Helm - Design building blocks and define best practices - Meet with customers and respond to RFQ and compliance questions to review the technical implementation of security controls in our core infrastructure - Work closely with Engineering partners & Implementation Teams to identify pain points and implement tools / solutions to eliminate them - Research cost spikes and implement solutions to minimize impact - Research new Cloud services and capabilities and define roadmaps for use Build / Run: - Build architecture and security design and review of new products / customer deployments - Drive the selection and implementation of a new tool chain for CI/CD and drive the deployment of our applications and infrastructure - Leverage Infrastructure as Code to build and manage core cloud infrastructure components - Review the code of peers and partners to ensure secure and supportable solutions - Design and drive implementation of on prem services with cloud-like capabilities Security Operations: - Troubleshooting of complex technical production support issues - Support and recommend practices to secures business applications and computing environments across public, private or hybrid cloud infrastructures. - Implement Cloud security standards, threat modeling methodologies, secure code practices, and processes in tandem with security and software engineers. - Collaborate closely with the Security team to ensure our systems achieve and maintain HITRUST certification and compliance General: - Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction. - Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting. - Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned. - Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications - BS Degree in Computer Science/MIS or technically related field or master’s degree in Business Administration with a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience. - Demonstrated experience with IT systems and IT management at a senior level with progressively responsible experience in large and diverse business settings. Familiarity with health care organizations and controls is expected. - Broad IT infrastructure and application architecture knowledge with proven track record of evaluating, planning and implementing enterprise-level turnkey projects in complex business environments. - Demonstrated knowledge of formal information security standards and best practices. Knowledge of HIPAA standards and first-hand experience with SSAE16 SOC2 Type II, ISO27002, NIST or similar security standards and audit processes. - Good understanding of IT Governance policies and procedures, ITIL methodologies and tools, and demonstrated business savvy to recognize and align key business and technology goals. - Demonstrated project and team management skills and ability to track and report progress against established milestones, metrics and deliverables. - Must possess strong communication, leadership, managerial, interpersonal, analytical and decision-makingskills, along with strong personal and professional integrity. - Experience managing technical teams - Expert Cloud knowledge (AWS/GCP/AZURE/OCI) - Expert DevOps Tools and Process knowledge - Expert Infrastructure as Code knowledge (Terraform) - Experience managing agile teams Cognitive/ Mental Requirement - Communicating with others to exchange information. - Problem-solving and thinking critically. - Completing tasks independently. - Interpreting data. - Making timely decisions in the context of a workflow. Physical Requirement and Working Conditions - Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance. - Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area. - Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. - Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
