Position Summary The Consultant position anticipates, develops and implements innovative solutions for our customers’ training challenges. The scope of work includes the full range of ADDIE/Systematic Approach to Training activities, with a heavy emphasis on analysis, design and development work. The Consultant also works to achieve proficiency in our proprietary training management softwares, Quality Training Database (QTD) and VISION, and uses our applications to deliver products and services to our clients. Position Duties & Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: - Collaborating virtually with a team to complete project tasks, assuring quality of deliverables, andtracking time - Working independently while understanding the necessity of communicating and coordinating work efforts with team members - Collaborating with client subject matter experts to collect data for job analysis, training needs, performance requirements, operating procedures, technical systems, processes, and other related information - Organizing data and entry into our flagship software programs, Quality Training Database and VISION, including proactively identifying and recommending best data set up solutions for clients - Providing quality data entry support to the Professional Services team - Ability to work virtually from a home office or other professional environment free from auditory or visual distractions; location may be anywhere within the continental United States Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) - A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Nuclear Technology, Engineering, Instructional Design, Technical Writing, or related fields. A master’s degree is preferred - Three to seven years of experience in training analysis, design, and/or development work, including experience with designing training courses and/or programs to meet client needs; experience with technical writing or procedure writing a plus. - Understanding of nuclear principles, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements in nuclear environments set by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) desired. - Develop training materials including lesson plans, on-the-job training guides, tests, performance assessments, etc. that are consistent with the principles of adult learning theory and instructional design theory. - Leverage eLearning tools and technologies (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) to develop and enhance training materials. - An ability to analyze and logically organize complex technical information, and transform complex bodies of information into professionally designed, engaging and effective training. - Ability to work well in a team environment or individually on projects. - Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and communication. - Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material. - Ability to effectively apply analytical and critical thinking skills. - Can work independently, self-directed with excellent time management skills with the ability to multi- task and meet deadlines, shifting to meet client needs when required. - Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness. • Provide clinical expertise to customers on ASP products and processes through consultation, assessment and education. • Plans, prioritizes and manages a work schedule which meets customer expectations in a timely and cost-effective manner. • Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing to achieve business objective. • Proactively identify and coordinate in-service education sessions with Product Specialists, to support delivered health care and use of products efficiently and effectively. • Assist Product Specialist to identify sales opportunities which contribute to the success of others and therefore the company. • Identify and optimise account relationship with key customers / decision makers. • Contribute to innovative service arrangements which build customer loyalty • Engage ongoing assessment and evaluation of ASP products in the market. • Functions as a clinical expert to ASP staff on new product development/ launches, market changes/ trends and the identification of customer driven needs and/or requests. • Plans, develops and implements customer educational programs to meet current and future customer needs. • Submit periodic reports that include qualitative and quantitative information on customer feedback, competitor activity and relevant market issues to support business development Maintain up to date customer records • Maintains and expands clinical/technical knowledge of all ASP products. • Maintain a responsible and ethical approach along with active pursuit of business outcomes
