Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master & Jira Admin to lead Agile delivery while owning and continuously improving our Jira ecosystem. This role requires strong system thinking, delivery discipline, and the ability to influence both teams and leadership. This is not a ceremony-focused role. It is a hands-on position responsible for delivery predictability, tooling architecture (Jira), and organizational improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Own and continuously improve Jira configuration and architecture (workflows, automation rules, Rovo Agents, reporting structure). - Build and maintain dashboards, filters, and reporting views that support leadership decision-making. - Improve delivery predictability using flow-based metrics such as velocity, cycle time, throughput, and WIP limits. - Identify bottlenecks in the delivery pipeline and drive systemic improvements. - Act as a bridge between engineering, QA, product, design, and business stakeholders. - Challenge unrealistic commitments and protect delivery predictability. - Escalate risks early with structured impact analysis. - Proactively identify organizational impediments beyond the team level and drive resolution. - Influence leadership on Agile maturity improvements. - Act as an initiative change agent, not just a process enforcer. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with experience operating in complex, multi-team environments. - Proven experience owning Jira configurations, workflows, and automation rules (not just using Jira). - Strong understanding of flow-based delivery metrics and Agile system optimization. - Demonstrated ability to handle stakeholder conflict and push back constructively. - Strong facilitation, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred: - Scrum certifications (CSM, A-CSM, PSM, or equivalent). - Experience working in scaled Agile environments. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern delivery pipelines.

Role Description Reporting to an Agile Delivery Manager, the Sr. Scrum Master provides end-to-end delivery leadership for up to two scrum teams, or a complex team within Ontada’s Technology Solutions portfolio. This role operates with autonomy and accountability, owning delivery outcomes, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving cross-team alignment in a regulated, enterprise environment. We are seeking experienced Scrum Master with hands-on expertise in SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban, who can operate effectively across product, engineering, UX, QA, and release management.
