Implementation Engineer

Miovision

• Responsible for executing remote implementation activities, encompassing both on-premise customer systems and cloud-based systems. • Conducts technical reviews of project designs and coordinates as required with technical implementation and engineering teams. • Collaborates with internal cross-functional teams to ensure the satisfaction of project technical requirements. • Leads remote field-testing activities necessary for customer projects and/or new product introductions. • Develops a comprehensive understanding of and articulately communicates Miovision’s product and technology portfolio to customers. • Develops and delivers customized solutions to fulfill customer requirements. • Prepares technical documentation for internal integration and/or product customization requests. • Provides internal and customer-facing technical training as needed. • Identifies, documents, and promotes efficiency and automation enhancements in collaboration with engineering and product management. • Translates technical requirements from the customer to Miovision’s product development team to implement or enhance appropriate solutions. • Provides escalated technical support, and customer service as necessary. • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in the Traffic, ITS, Public Safety, and/or Transit technology sectors is highly advantageous.
  • A minimum of five years of network and/or software engineering experience is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree or four-year degree is necessary, preferably in an engineering or technical discipline.
  • Possesses demonstrated experience in network and IT configuration and troubleshooting for intricate Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) or technology projects.
  • Proficient in creating Virtual Machines within diverse VM environments.
  • Competent in Mobile Router Configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrates the capacity to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in demanding, high-pressure environments.
  • Establishes rigorous expectations for results and personally exemplifies accountability.
  • Exhibits comprehensive experience in problem-solving and root cause analysis to resolve challenging issues through experimental or innovative methodologies.
  • Possesses the aptitude to rapidly assimilate new technologies, including electrical, cloud computing, and networking concepts.
  • Demonstrates the ability to leverage customer insights to identify and surpass customer requirements.
  • Consistently makes decisions grounded in sound judgment, core ethical principles, and company values, irrespective of circumstances and pressure, while simultaneously driving successful customer and corporate outcomes.
