Litigation Attorney

Bush and Bush Law Group

• Litigation Management: Oversee all phases of litigation from case inception through trial, including the development of case strategies, discovery, and settlement negotiations. • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their legal issues, provide legal advice and develop effective strategies. • Court Representation: Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings, ensuring high-quality advocacy at all times. • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform case strategy and support legal arguments. • Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests that are clear, concise, and persuasive. • Trial Preparation: Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to prepare trial materials, including witness lists, exhibit binders, and jury instructions. • Case Analysis: Evaluate cases, identify issues, and provide recommendations for the best course of action. • Client Relations: Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates on case status and developments.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensing: Licensed to practice law in California with a strong understanding of state and federal litigation procedures.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on personal injury or employment law cases.
  • Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and courtroom skills, with strong legal writing ability.
  • Trial Experience: Proven trial experience with the ability to assertively represent clients in high-stakes situations.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently, while managing multiple cases effectively.
