Principal Platform Architect – AWS
Cyera
• Leverage core AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation to architect and deploy scalable, high-performance solutions • Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate resource provisioning and configuration • Engage in projects spanning multiple cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration of AWS solutions with our broader cloud strategies • Collaborate with product, R&D, sales engineering, and customer success teams to align cloud initiatives with business objectives • Serve as a subject matter expert on Cyera’s cloud architecture by providing detailed technical guidance and answering customer architecture questions • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to ensure efficient resource utilization • Enforce AWS security best practices, including IAM design, VPC security, and data protection • Stay current with emerging AWS technologies and industry trends, integrating innovative solutions into our cloud strategy.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools and automation techniques
- Solid understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and container orchestration (ECS or EKS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty) are highly preferred
- Experience with other cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) is a plus, underscoring a flexible approach to multi-cloud projects.
