Safety Manager
Convergint
• Leads the consistent implementation of Convergint’s safety programs across assigned U.S. regions and CTCs. • Provides oversight and support to tiered CTC safety resources. • Partners with operations leaders to integrate safety into daily operations and decision-making. • Assesses the effectiveness and quality of execution at the CTC level, focusing on outcomes, risk reduction, and behaviour changes – not activity alone. • Monitors operational safety risk as well as leading and lagging indicators to identify trends, systemic risks, and opportunities for proactive intervention. • Participates in incident investigations, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and analyzes safety performance data and trends. • Ensures compliance with all applicable safety regulations. • Supports ISO aligned safety management practices. • Provides functional leadership, coaching, and performance oversight to CTC-based Safety Coordinators through a dotted-line reporting relationship • Supports the development and continuous improvement of Safety Coordinators through training, guidance, and best-practice sharing. • Serves as the primary U.S. safety subject matter and strategic partner to the Director of Global Safety • Supports customer safety requirements • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or related field preferred
- 7–10 years of operational, service, or safety leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site operations required
- Prior experience working closely with field teams and operational leadership strongly preferred
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent preferred
- Commitment to obtaining relevant certification if not held
- OSHA 500 preferred
- First Aid and CPR preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within assigned regions

Role Description The Manager of Value-Based Care Education & Practice Collaboratives leads the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive education strategies for both primary care practices, Practice Facilitators, and internal quality/risk teams supporting value-based care arrangements across the enterprise. This role ensures internal teams, providers, practice teams, and facilitators are equipped with the knowledge, tools, standardized processes, and best practices needed to succeed across quality performance, risk adjustment, utilization management, total cost of care, and population health domains. This leader translates complex regulatory, payer, and operational requirements into practical, actionable education and training that drives measurable performance improvement. The role collaborates closely with Clinical, Network, Quality, Risk, Practice Transformation, Analytics, and Business teams to ensure alignment with organizational priorities, payer contracts (including ACO and MSSP requirements), and enterprise performance goals.
