• Lead the design, scoping, and implementation of marketing website projects such as new feature pages, blog revamps, and more • Integrate CMS-powered interfaces (we use Sanity) that allow marketers to update content independently • Build and maintain our design system to ensure we can continue to build with high velocity and high standards for UX • Develop engaging animations that enhance product storytelling using technologies such as Motion and GSAP • Exercise strong design judgment and attention to detail to ensure that every aspect of our site reinforces our brand identity

• Own and evolve the frontend architecture of our Astro + Vue 3 website. • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to translate UI/UX concepts into maintainable, accessible, and responsive code. • Extend and refine our integrations with Payload CMS and other self-hosted headless CMS platforms, defining reusable content structures and dynamic components. • Implement performant, SEO-friendly static rendering strategies using Astro’s hybrid rendering model. • Continuously improve site performance (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores, caching strategies). • Support and maintain our self-hosted WordPress resources, ensuring reliability, security, and seamless integration with the broader site ecosystem. • Coordinate updates and integrations between WordPress and our static site infrastructure when needed. • Document and maintain developer and content-editor workflows for consistent implementation. • Introduce and maintain automated frontend testing and CI/CD improvements. • Stay up to date with frontend best practices, accessibility, and emerging frameworks.

• Specification Interpretation, work with Business Analysts and customers to interpret requirements and remove ambiguity over requirements. • Low Level Software Design, using the high level design and functional design, create the necessary low level software design to meet the functional requirements. • Document the design and gain approval from the design authority to ensure the design maintains the overall integrity. • Software Development, develop new features for the UI/UX and deploy developed software into test and production requirements as required. • Unit Testing, develop unit tests, execute the tests, record deficiencies and remediate as required. • Team participation and contribution, participate in team meetings and actively contribute to designs, issues, risks, interdependencies and other items under discussion. • Knowledge definition and capture, turn intrinsic knowledge into extrinsic knowledge by actively contributing to knowledge capture systems such as the internal Wiki and document management systems. • Personal Management, support the organisation by ensuring compliance with time-sheeting, status management, administration and other internal procedures.
