DevOps Engineer

• Maintain 99.9% uptime for production systems and 99.5% availability for CI/CD pipelines. • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) with best practices in automation, monitoring, and scaling. • Ensure 99.9% backup success rate and disaster recovery readiness. • Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines with a 98% deployment success rate. • Target lead time of 2 business days for standard deployments. • Monitor and reduce change failure rate (<5%). • Reduce MTTR to <2 hours (P0) and <4 hours (P1). • Implement and monitor SOC 2 controls with Drata. • Respond to critical security alerts within 15 minutes. • Run weekly vulnerability scans and apply critical patches within 24 hours. • Conduct regular access reviews (monthly audits, quarterly privilege reviews). • Build and maintain 24/7 monitoring and alerting systems. • Be the first line of defense for incidents (P0/P1). • Lead post-incident reviews and ensure learnings are applied. • Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to support new feature deployments. • Provide weekly DevOps/infra updates and monthly reports on uptime, security posture, and improvements. • Participate in strategic quarterly reviews with leadership.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Proven track record in SOC 2 compliance, security hardening, and monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, PagerDuty, etc.).
- Hands-on with automation, scripting (Python, Bash), and infrastructure-as-code.
- Comfortable owning uptime, performance, and deployment metrics.
- Strong communicator, able to translate technical risks into business terms.
