Business Development Representative

• Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including outbound calls, emails, and social media platforms. • Conduct preliminary research and needs analysis to understand customers’ requirements and tailor sales strategies accordingly. • Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to prospects to generate interest and secure sales appointments. • Actively follow up with leads and prospects to nurture relationships. • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for sales qualified leads and booked demos to effectively build a sales pipeline. • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to maximize sales potential. • Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities, document customer interactions, and provide accurate sales forecasts. • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ offerings to effectively position our products or services. • Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge through training, workshops, and self-learning to enhance sales performance.
Job Requirements
- Experience as an Inside Sales Representative or in a similar sales role, preferably in a B2B environment highly preferred; desire to pursue a career in sales required
- Previous experience as a clinical research site coordinator or highly similar position required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, ideally with a track record of successfully building a sales pipeline.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual who thrives in a target-driven sales environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track activities, and analyze sales data.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and embrace new sales techniques and strategies.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events, if required.
