Sales Engineer
Saxovent
• Actively contribute to the sales of grid-relevant components as well as BESS, wind and PV infrastructure, with a clear focus on implementation and closing deals • Identify, establish and develop customer and partner relationships (e.g., project developers, EPCs, installers, energy companies) • Support the build-out and further development of sales structures across Europe, with an emphasis on concrete market activities • Independently manage sales projects — from initial contact to contract signing • Provide technical advice to customers and act as the interface between engineering, product and sales • Contribute to the evolution of the product portfolio based on market feedback • Monitor relevant market and technology trends in the field of renewable energy
Job Requirements
- Technically proficient, action-oriented professional with a strong affinity for sales
- Excellent German and English skills; additional European languages are an advantage
- Degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable field — alternatively a technical/trade apprenticeship with relevant further training
- Initial to several years (approx. 2–5 years) of professional experience in renewable energy (e.g., PV, wind, BESS, energy infrastructure)
- Experience in technical sales, project-based business or customer-facing roles is an advantage
- Hands-on mentality: you implement solutions rather than just coordinate them
- Good technical understanding and the ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Strong communication skills and a confident manner when dealing with customers
- Willingness to travel frequently within Europe
- Ambition to help build and grow a company, not just fill a role

The Consulting Sales Engineer is responsible for providing pre-sales technical expertise to the sales team and a customer base of mechanical engineering firms. This role will collaborate closely with customers—helping them understand product capabilities, identifying technical requirements, and shaping solutions that meet their needs while supporting our business objectives. Success in this position requires strong technical knowledge, effective sales capabilities, and excellent communication skills. This role can work anywhere in the US. Preferred Qualifications - Master’s degree, MBA, or relevant industry certifications. - Proven experience in a customer-facing sales engineering or technical sales role with successful project outcomes. - Track record of influencing sales growth, managing complex opportunities, and achieving revenue targets. - Proficiency with CRM platforms and structured sales methodologies. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and persuasively. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities. - Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and product management. Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
