CPA Financial Analyst

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including general ledger entries, accounts receivable, cash activity, and reconciliations using QuickBooks • Execute and support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports • Support statutory, investor, and internal compliance reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, identifying trends and key drivers • Build, maintain, and improve Excel-based financial models, reports, and automation templates • Ensure adherence to internal controls, documentation standards, and parent company policies • Respond to internal and external financial inquiries and communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders • Support ad-hoc financial analysis, accounting research, and process improvement initiatives
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, financial analysis, or taxation
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks – mandatory
- Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, advanced formulas; Power Query/VBA is a plus)
- Experience with Excel-based automation tools or workflow automation
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting principles
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, process-driven environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
