Job Description
Business Development Manager
Aerobotics
• Execute sales strategies that drive growth and profitability • Sell & deliver products to a wide range of horticultural customers • Provide hands-on product demonstrations and training at farms and offices • Report to the GM, APAC and support the execution of regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets aligned with Aerobotics’ forecasts. • Optimize the customer decision journey so as to minimize spend and resources, and to maximize purchases and repurchases • Collaborate with internal teams in South Africa to ensure seamless service delivery • Partner with the Product team to uncover new customer needs & inform product development • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities • Regular travel within the region to meet customers, and at times, attend conferences as and where necessary.
Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience in Sales, Account Management or Customer Success is preferred.
- Experience in agribusiness or AgTech, perennial tree crops, agronomy, or horticulture is preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and drive results without direct supervision
- World-Class service delivery & customer centric attitude
