Role Description We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to help build, scale, and evolve NGL, a high-traffic social platform used by millions of people every day. In this role, you will primarily work on the NGL mobile apps while contributing to backend services, web development, and infrastructure, and partnering closely with Product, Design, Data, and Growth. You’ll own features end-to-end, from technical design through production, making architectural tradeoffs, ensuring production readiness, and contributing to system scalability, performance, and reliability. This is a hands-on senior IC role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, cares about product outcomes, and enjoys solving complex engineering problems at scale. What You’ll Do - Build & Ship High-Impact Features - Design, implement, and ship full-stack features supporting messaging, engagement, notifications, creator workflows, safety, and monetization. - Contribute across mobile, web, and backend services/APIs. - Break down complex product requirements into clear technical designs and deliverables. - Mobile & Frontend Contributions - Contribute to React Native and Swift codebases. - Partner with Design and Product to deliver intuitive, performant user experiences. - Backend & Platform Engineering - Build and update APIs using Node.js / TypeScript, primarily within Firebase-based systems. - Design systems for high throughput, low latency, and global traffic spikes. - Reliability, Performance & Scale - Improve system performance, observability, and operational excellence. - Participate in on-call rotations and lead production issue investigation and resolution when needed. - Proactively identify and address scalability bottlenecks through profiling, refactoring, and architectural improvements. - Experimentation & Iteration - Partner with Product and Data to run experiments, A/B tests, and rapid iteration cycles. - Use metrics and experimentation results to inform engineering decisions. - Support new monetization models and feature launches through fast, reliable execution. - Collaboration & Technical Leadership - Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data, and Growth partners. - Actively participate in and help drive technical design reviews and architecture discussions. - Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through thoughtful code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing. - Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and best practices. • Design, build, and ship high-impact features across React/Remix front-end applications and NestJS/Node.js back-end services. • Develop and maintain secure, scalable REST and GraphQL APIs and microservices deployed on AWS. • Own features end-to-end, from design and implementation through to production release and ongoing optimisation. • Use AI co-pilot tools (e.g. Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf) for code generation, refactoring, test creation, and documentation. • Develop and share effective prompt patterns and AI best practices to improve team productivity and code quality. • Validate and secure AI-assisted code through testing, reviews, and static analysis. • Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress). • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates, security scanning, and rollback strategies. • Mentor engineers on strong engineering fundamentals and effective AI-driven development workflows. • Stay current with emerging AI tools and identify opportunities to improve delivery through AI-enabled solutions.

• SDK/API development — build APIs and SDKs to allow developers to integrate Paxos Labs on-chain infrastructure into enterprise platforms. • Research and integrate smart contract transactions. • Maintain a secure open-source repository and iterate on developer experience. • Fullstack development — collaborate with designers on prototypes and iterate across frontend and backend. • EVM development — stay updated on Ethereum core upgrades affecting wallet and developer UX. • Ensure reliability by upholding high standards in liveness SLOs and observability. • Work closely with security engineers to safeguard developers and users from exploits.

• Help push the company forward by writing and maintaining efficient, scalable code while contributing across all layers of our platform • Perform technical analysis, product and website feature development, bug resolution, knowledge sharing, and contribute to documentation • Part of business-hours support workflows and assist operations teams with the implementation, testing, and deployment of solutions
