Senior Manager, Design Systems
GoTo
• Deliver Measurable Platform Outcomes — Drive improvements in customer onboarding, eCommerce conversion, and adoption of shared platform experiences through data‑informed decisions and continuous discovery. • Set Vision & Team Direction — Establish a clear vision, goals, and objectives for the Design System and Platform Experiences teams, ensuring alignment with product and business outcomes. • Team Leadership & Scaling — Assess current team capabilities, ensure the right people are in the right roles, and hire for open positions to build a high‑performing, engaged team. • AI‑Driven Design System Transformation — Develop and execute a plan to modernize and accelerate Design System design and development using AI tools and new ways of working.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading UX teams in lean, agile, user‑centric SaaS environments, including e‑commerce and admin experiences.
- 3+ years of experience leading or contributing to company‑wide Design Systems, with a strong understanding of how to build, scale, and modernize them.
- Proven collaboration with Product & Engineering leadership to drive measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Ability to communicate insights, risks, and outcomes through compelling storytelling, influencing stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong people leadership skills, with experience coaching, developing, and aligning teams to deliver high‑impact work.
