Role Description We are seeking to hire a Mid-level Software Developer to our team! - Software Development: Design, develop, and enhance software applications and data-driven solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks to support enterprise business systems. - Application & Data Integration: Build and integrate software components and data services across cloud-based environments to ensure reliable system interoperability. - Database Development: Develop and maintain applications utilizing relational databases and data processing frameworks, with emphasis on SQL-driven data operations. - Python & PySpark Development: Implement data processing scripts, automation routines, and distributed data processing logic using Python and PySpark to support data-intensive workflows. - Code Quality & Documentation: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews and maintain software documentation. - Testing & Debugging: Develop and execute unit and integration tests, debug defects, and resolve performance issues to improve system reliability. - Agile Delivery: Participate in Agile development ceremonies, manage tasks through DevOps tools, and use source code control systems such as Git. - Cloud Implementation: Support development and deployment of applications within Azure-based environments. - Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve application performance, automation, and development processes. Works under moderate supervision with guidance from senior personnel. Qualifications - Professional Experience: At least three (3–5+) years of experience in software development or application engineering roles. - Strong proficiency in SQL for database development, data queries, and data manipulation. - Strong proficiency in Python, with experience using PySpark for distributed data processing. - Experience developing applications in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure. - Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. - Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating web services. - Familiarity with source control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines. - Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requirements - Preferred: Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, or other Azure application services. - Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker. - Experience with data processing or analytics applications. - Experience supporting federal IT systems or large enterprise modernization programs. Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. • Generate analysis datasets, tables, figures, and listings to support the statistical analysis of clinical trials in support of regulatory submissions and publications. • Generate SDTM datasets, ADaM datasets, and Define.xml or Define.pdf files. • Perform quality control for SAS programs and other study documents (e.g., presentations and reports). • Maintain complete and auditable documentation of all programming activities. • Review output across SAS programs to ensure consistency. • Provide statistical programming support to supplemental or exploratory analyses for regulatory agencies or any other internal and external ad-hoc requests. • Assist Clinical Data Managers with data review via SAS programmed data checks and listings. • Assist in programming, testing, and documenting SAS global utility programs and tools in accordance with standards and validation procedures. • Participate in the development and/or maintenance of departmental procedures and standards. • Review CRFs, edit check specifications, and table mock-ups. • Work collaboratively with cross functional groups, study team, and vendors. • May assist in creation of table, figure, or listing mockups under supervision of statisticians.

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise integrations using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI). • Develop secure, scalable interfaces between cloud applications, on-premises systems, and external partners. • Define integration patterns, standards, frameworks, and reusable components. • Translate business and data requirements into detailed technical integration designs. • Build mappings, tasks, APIs, microservices, and orchestrations within IDMC. • Configure and tune IDMC components, including connections, agents, mapping tasks, ingress/egress jobs, and process automation workflows. • Mentor and guide junior developers; perform code reviews ensuring adherence to best practices. • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines across operational systems, cloud platforms, and data warehouses. • Design and deploy API-driven integrations, event-based workflows, and synchronous/asynchronous processes. • Implement integration governance covering version control, deployment pipelines, and documentation.

• Disseminate knowledge and document technical decisions by creating documents or records in the management system. • Promote development best practices, code quality, and automated testing through training, knowledge sharing, and documentation. • Identify and remove blockers that impact the team's deliveries. • Perform code reviews and review technical decisions, ensuring stability, quality, and adherence to company standards. • Collaborate with Product Coordinators to define the roadmap and team strategy, taking technical aspects into account. • Support other Engineering teams, ensuring major releases and technological changes are carried out safely and with minimal impact. • Participate in defining projects and tasks, assessing architecture, impacts, deployment strategies, and deliverables. • Develop Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines. • Set up monitoring, alerts, and troubleshooting tools. • Evaluate trade-offs, risks, and impacts to inform technical decisions. • Break down complex projects into smaller deliverables that can be executed by you or by the team. • Bring visibility to technical debt and risks, proposing prioritization for mitigation. • Investigate and act on production incidents, leading root-cause analysis and remediation. • Anticipate the impact of changes and new products on the existing architecture, proposing mitigation actions. • Define, discuss, and document code standards, quality practices, and testing strategies. • Identify and mitigate security risks in systems. • Support immediate leadership in problem analysis and action definition, contributing to process improvements. • Ensure compliance with area policies and procedures, identifying and suggesting improvements. • Analyze processes and propose improvements that contribute to the area's efficiency and results. • Stay up-to-date with technology trends and innovations, promoting continuous improvement. • Perform other related activities as directed by leadership.
