• Create short promo videos using a software drag and drop platform • Design web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, advertisements, and other communication materials • Meet with web designers to gain an understanding of what they want for their proposed web pages • Create or incorporate illustrations, videos, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone • Produce drafts for review by clients and make revisions based on feedback received • Review final productions for errors and ensure that final layouts reflect client specifications • Study design briefs and determine requirements • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas • Use appropriate colors and layouts for videos • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final designs • Amend designs after feedback • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand • Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories and internal company announcements • Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, and select optimal forms of media for projects • Work independently and part of a team to establish project deliverables • Record and edit video and sound projects including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting graphics, titling, adding music, voice-over, and SFX

Job Requirements

  • 3 years of experience as a graphics designer or in a similar role
  • Mastery of graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, etc.
  • Knowledge of video and audio editing software programs a big plus
  • Solid knowledge of design and visual principles
  • Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design, and software skills
  • Ability to evaluate choices critically, with the customer's needs in mind
  • Ability to communicate design choices clearly
  • Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Great multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
  • General understanding of computers and digital equipment and knowledge of new and cutting-edge technology.
