• Take responsibility for selling our complete portfolio of products, services and solutions to a portfolio of existing and prospective IaaS customers. • Build and maintain, through regular contacts and visits: - strong relationships with business partners, - a high level of trust with the customers entrusted to you. • Implement up-selling strategies with existing customers. • Generate leads by using a wide range of lead generation mechanisms (online and offline) to identify potential new customers. • Collaborate with specialist departments to bring your sales projects to maturity as a leader. • Carry out market and customer analysis in order to make data-driven decisions. • Participate to events: Represent our company at trade shows and events related to our business to make valuable industry contacts. Be actively involved in detecting events that are important to your success.
Job Requirements
- Experience in selling modern technologies and concepts, such as IaaS cloud solutions, PaaS, Kubernetes, DevOps, etc., and the ability to translate technologies into benefits for customers and their business.
- Complete expertise in the sales process, from lead generation to closing the deal with SME and Enterprise customers.
- Experience in direct and indirect sales and in combining the two.
- Existing network and sales experience with customers in the German part of Switzerland.
- Solid experience in team coordination to manage and successfully complete your sales projects.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and take part in events.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills are required.

The Business Development Lead (Defense) is an integral contributor to Rocket’s growth strategy, leading the expansion of the company’s footprint across specific Department of War (DoW) branches. This is a unique role that understands the technical nuances of Rocket’s projects as well as the broader defense environment, using that knowledge to identify and capture new business opportunities. The Business Development Lead will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Programs. They are responsible for: - Building and maintaining positive relationships with large defense primes and government entities. - Steering the pipeline for continued growth. - Ensuring Rocket maximizes the value provided to our defense partners while maintaining a healthy and robust business development pipeline. Compensation $97,000 - $141,000 a year. The compensation package features an annual revenue bonus, contingent upon the company's financial success for the year. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.
