• Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test suites for UI and API testing • Collaborate with developers and QA team members to ensure meaningful, risk-based test coverage • Integrate and maintain automation within CI/CD pipelines • Analyse test results, identify trends and risks, and provide actionable feedback to engineering teams • Contribute to automation strategy, tooling decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives • Ensure automation is scalable, maintainable, and efficient, identifying opportunities for optimisation • Balance long-term automation goals with short-term quality needs when required • Communicate clearly and constructively during code reviews and technical discussions • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

• Complete software testing activities for user stories within the Agile SDLC by writing automated tests and contributing directly to automation coverage. • This role is almost entirely hands‑on coding. • Review deliverables/activities identified in test plans for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance. • Write additional automated tests as needed to ensure full coverage for every release. • Develop and Optimize Automation Scripts and Frameworks: Design, code, and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using Python (or another modern programming language). • Work with automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, and Robot. • Spend the majority of your day writing code and building scalable automation solutions. • Automation of Testing Processes: Build automated frameworks for unit, integration, UI, and mobile testing. • Perform exploratory testing only as needed to inform automation. • Create test datasets and execute automated test suites to ensure high‑quality releases. • Automation Solutions Customization: Adapt automation frameworks to meet regulatory and product‑specific requirements in the medical industry. • Maintenance and Enhancement of Automated Systems: Continuously improve automation frameworks and test suites. • Identify and implement opportunities to replace manual testing with automation. • Collaboration and Technical Leadership: Work closely with developers and QA team members to integrate automation into the development lifecycle. • Provide technical guidance when needed, but this is not a lead or managerial role. • Technical Documentation and System Documentation: Produce clear, concise documentation for automated tests, frameworks, and processes. • Ensure documentation meets regulatory and compliance requirements.

• Design and implement test strategies, automation frameworks, and CI/CD integrations that ensure our systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance. • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps engineers to build robust automation pipelines for UI, API, and backend testing. • Contribute to load and performance testing initiatives. • Designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium. • Developing and executing integration and end-to-end test suites to ensure high-quality releases. • Implementing performance and load testing using k6 or similar tools. • Integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Git, Drone CI, Argo CD, Kubernetes). • Driving test coverage, defect reporting, and quality metrics across multiple delivery teams. • Collaborating with engineers to embed testing early in the SDLC and ensure reliable, scalable automation. • Advocating for QA best practices, code quality, and automation-first principles. • Leading continuous improvement initiatives evaluating new tools, frameworks, and techniques to enhance efficiency and maintainability.
