Global Commodity Manager
GlobalFoundries
• Understand business requirements and market dynamics of global supply environment • Develop and maintain collaborative business relationships with stakeholders • Support Business Units on new business products • Travel as required to support all new business opportunities (10%) and executive meetings • Independently develop and drive sourcing strategies on assigned commodities with alignments from key stakeholders • Manage key suppliers and stakeholders’ relationships • Drive supplier performance improvement through regular EBR, QBR and MOR • Continuously improve and streamline sourcing best practices • Supports executive presentation and regularly works with executives • Leads complex, strategic and business critical projects or initiatives. • Initiates analyze and plan annual cost reduction activities • Negotiate master purchase agreements, service contracts, consignment agreements and any other contracts required under his/her commodities • Own Business Continuity Plan and improvement actions • Develop, implement and communicate company policies and sourcing procedures • Review and approve high value purchase orders for completeness and compliance with company requirements • Ensure 100% compliance to GlobalFoundries SOP • Work on other projects and/or assignments as needed • Support regular business units and operations global team meetings
Job Requirements
- Education – bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- Min 5 years of working experience in sourcing/commodity management, contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, business strategy, contract manufacturing / outsourcing, and continuous process improvement
- Prior work experience in semiconductor or wafer fab environment is bonus
- Experienced working in a global team
- Strong mathematical skills
- Highly independent and resourceful

- Proven negotiation skills
- Creative problem solver
- Competence in complex data analysis, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Good knowledge of business contracts
- Flexibility to attend night calls as business required

• Responsible for the implementation of the BeOne medicines price strategy in business-relevant customer channels/networks with a special focus on the German hospital and manufacturer market. • Supporting and advising key customers in the hospital, wholesaler and nationally organized manufacturing companies for both haematology/oncology therapy areas. • Identification and understanding of procurement and implementation hurdles for BeOne medicines drugs within the German hospital system. • Collaborate closely with Customer Engagement, Sales, Medical and Market Access to develop projects and specific offers/conditions that allow key customers to enter a customer relationship with BeOne medicines. • Liaise with and support the regional field teams in implementation of this customer relationships. • Establishing networks and taking care/being responsible of existing ones. • Responsible for developing economic models and design template contracts to be used with key accounts such as buying groups, compounders, trusts or major hospital pharmacies. • Negotiating terms and conditions with all national accounts at manufacturer and wholesaler level. • Develops mid-to-long range Pharmacy Key Account Plans based on an assessment of buying and strategic potential of individual pharmacies, with a priority focus on compounder, hospital pharmacies and pharmacies co-operating with PBOs. • Turnover, sales and contribution margin optimization through targeted customer analyses and the resulting contract and price/conditions, offers for all relevant products within the various sales channels. • Support business strategy through conducting research on needs, hurdles and interests of specific key customer segments (esp. hospitals and certified tumor & cancer medical centers/MVZs) with respect to implementation of BeOne medicines portfolio. • Organize Pharmacy Ad boards; draft and co-ordinate contents with relevant departments and provides feedback on outcome/relevant action items to the functional departments. • Establish a relationship and maintains a network to pharmacist’s associations (ADKA, ABDA, DGOP) and at a personal level, to key pharmacists, wholesalers, manufacturers. • Monitors the pharmacy related landscape to anticipate trends and to recognize economic scenarios impacting our therapeutic offerings. • Economic evaluation and identification of business opportunities for the long-term positioning of the overall portfolio; development of business development concepts in the commercial channel area contact for contract and billing management to the defined target groups. • Coordination and cooperation with the key account managers with regard to optimized account management of the most important customer.
