• Development of work plans and ensuring schedule adherence for all licensing deliverables while maintaining a high standard of quality. • Adherence to all applicable procedures and to project-specific work plans and instructions. • Identify and originate Condition Reports to drive continuous improvements as necessary. • Process documents in the Product Lifecycle Management tool including uploading quality records and supporting documentation and creating change actions with assigned reviewers and approvals. • Prepare, coordinate, and implement limitations and conditions for U.S. Licensing Topical Reports (LTRs) in support of new reactor licensing, including preparation of responses to customer and regulator questions • Prepare licensing basis documentation in support of customer licensing applications in the U.S. for new reactor construction and operations, including Preliminary Safety Analysis Reports (PSARs), Final Safety Analysis Reports (FSARs), Technical Specifications, Technical Specification Bases, and Availability Controls Manuals • Prepare licensing basis documentation and reports supporting customer License Amendment Request (LAR) and Exemption applications, including Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) markups and revisions and Technical Specifications changes • Support customer requests for preparation or review of unreviewed safety question determinations, including preparation of Technical Safety Evaluation Reports and working with internal teams coordinating licensing status of various fuel design changes and fuel and reactor methods changes • Interface with customers and regulatory personnel on regulatory issues, and to secure applicable permissions and approvals related to work scopes

• Responsible for Nuclear Engineering activities that support: Design of Fuel Bundle and Core Design in support GE's existing fleet of BWRs and/or GE’s BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR). • Demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives for Nuclear Fuel Cycle Analysis. • Integrates and develops BWR fuel technology processes that meet business needs across the organization. • Involved in long-term planning. • Identify, develop, evaluate, and introduce engineering solutions to meet near term and long-range Fuel Cycle needs. • Provide technical consultation on product problems including providing technical guidance, direction, and training to new and experienced bundle & core design engineers and contributing to developing and defining state-of-the-art bundle & core designs, procedures, and processing to improve engineering quality, performance, and market needs. • Lead and provide the key technical direction to large projects with critical business impact. • Maintain an active role in developing and defining the state of the art in own technical specialty in fuel cycle analysis in order to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs including adherence to schedules and estimated costs. • Support other GE businesses, internal & external customers, and suppliers as required. • Provide technical consultation to cross-functional teams throughout the business to improve or resolve manufacturing, product center, supplier, or field issues. • Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical data to internal and external GE customers using reports, records, and letters. • Use knowledge and expertise to market winning proposals in anticipation of business product needs. • Prepare invention disclosures to protect technology that gives the business a competitive advantage, as well as protecting the intellectual property rights of the company. • Provide technical guidance, direction and training to new and experienced materials engineers, specialists, technicians, and co-ops.
