• Analyze existing SQL Server 2016 database objects (stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, SQL jobs) • Reverse-engineer complex business and calculation logic embedded in legacy systems • Translate technical T-SQL logic into clear, structured functional documentation • Prepare data mappings and dependency documentation • Identify redundant or obsolete logic and highlight simplification opportunities • Collaborate with HRIS and functional stakeholders during modernization activities
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience
- Strong experience with MS SQL Server 2016 (on-premise environments)
- Advanced T-SQL expertise (Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers)
- Strong understanding of complex joins, CTEs, query optimization
- Experience working with legacy database systems
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to translate technical database logic into business-readable documentation
