Business Development Executive
Rhenus Logistics
• Generate new business leads and support revenue growth in line with Rhenus Air & Ocean sales strategy and country budget. • Conduct sales calls, client visits, and meetings to build relationships with prospective and existing customers. • Present logistics solutions that address customer requirements and operational needs. • Support the achievement of new business awards while maintaining targeted gross profit margins. • Maintain regular customer engagement to ensure satisfaction, retention, and account development. • Gather customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams to develop appropriate logistics solutions. • Work closely with Product, Operations, and Pricing teams to support quotations and proposals. • Prepare and submit accurate quotations, proposals, and tenders for prospective and existing customers. • Manage assigned sales opportunities and follow up on leads to closure. • Identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory or customer segment. • Assist in preparing sales presentations and customer proposals. • Ensure all sales activities (meetings, contact reports, leads, and opportunities) are properly recorded in the CRM system (SUGAR) in accordance with SOP. • Qualify opportunities to ensure alignment with commercial objectives and customer requirements. • Provide basic market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor information to the Sales Manager. • Submit required weekly and monthly sales activity reports on time. • Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, pricing accuracy, and documentation requirements prior to Job Instruction issuance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2–4 years of sales or customer-facing experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain.
- Exposure to Air & Ocean freight operations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Tagalog.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Valid non-professional driver’s license; own vehicle is an advantage.
