Field Marketing Manager
Unit4
• Support the end-to-end planning and execution of integrated field marketing campaigns aligned to North American priorities and Unit4’s vertical go-to-market strategy • Partner with the Senior Manager, Field Marketing, North America to operationalize integrated plans across the full customer lifecycle • Project manage multi-channel programs across digital, in-person, and hybrid formats, ensuring consistent messaging and seamless execution • Balance global alignment with local flexibility, adapting campaigns to meet regional and vertical-specific needs • Work closely with regional sales teams to support pipeline growth, account engagement, and customer-centric field initiatives • Enable sales with relevant messaging, assets, and campaign support that reflect Unit4’s value proposition and customer outcomes • Act as a trusted connector between field sales and central marketing, sharing insights and feedback to continuously improve campaigns • Lead and support regional field events, third-party sponsorships, executive programs, and targeted local activations • Deliver 360° event marketing support, including planning, promotion, execution, follow-up, and performance analysis • Manage relationships with partners, vendors, agencies, and venues to ensure high-quality execution and strong return on investment • Measure, analyze, and report on campaign and event performance, with a clear focus on engagement, pipeline contribution, and ROI • Use data and field insights to optimize programs, iterate quickly, and inform future planning—embracing Unit4’s agile, learning-oriented culture • Manage assigned field marketing budgets responsibly, following Unit4’s financial and procurement processes • Support light administrative and operational tasks that enable efficient campaign delivery and scalability
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, demand generation, or integrated marketing; SaaS or technology experience preferred
- Proven ability to deliver integrated, multi-channel field marketing campaigns that drive measurable business impact
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and deliver in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to deliver customer-first outcomes
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM, and ABM platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, or similar)
- Experience managing budgets and working with external agencies and vendors
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Clear, confident communicator who builds trust through transparency and collaboration
- Willingness to travel regionally as required to support field initiatives and events

Role Description As the Field Marketing Manager you have some experience as a Demand Generation Marketer that wants to join our dynamic team. In this role, you activate trade and owned events and will create and manage B2B lead generation campaigns to drive high quality leads for our sales team. You will contribute to the North America marketing strategy and will own the planning and execution of content and messaging. We want someone with a strong sense of ownership that expects to be hands-on from start to finish. Why do we need you? - To drive growth and demand for Cision across all our solutions in the North American region. What you’ll be doing: - Develop integrated demand programs, mapping audience-centric themes and content to target audiences throughout the buying cycle to achieve pipeline creation and revenue goals for specific customer segments. - Work closely with our NA sales team and forge strong communication and processes between teams. - Execute regional field marketing campaigns including trade shows, owned events, email campaigns, direct marketing, webinars, and other lead generation activities. - Continuously measure, manage and appropriately adjust campaign effectiveness: lead generation performance; lead conversion ratios; sales cycle conversions. - Plan and execute digital marketing strategy collaboratively with other parts of the marketing org. - Develop and execute a strategy that optimizes marketing conversion paths and drives key business metrics, including MQLs, SQLs, Opportunities, and revenue created through leads. - Expand and adapt that strategy based on learnings and analysis of sales and marketing data—both internally collected and available industry standards. Qualifications - BA/BS degree, preferably in marketing, PR or business. - At least 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B marketing including specific experience with event marketing, content marketing, multi-touch campaigns, demand generation, and multi-channel. - Experience with A/B testing, inbound and outbound marketing tactics. - Experience working closely with all business/sales development reps and sales teams to solicit feedback and ensure quality of leads. - Deep understanding of how to manage and optimize the lead handoff from marketing to sales. - Demonstrated success working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity—both internally and externally. - Experience in the software industry sector, highly desirable. - Travel will be necessary for this role. - Demonstrated track record of generating innovative content and campaigns that exceed target goals.
