IT Project Manager

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of global IT and digital projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on scope, quality, budget, and timeline • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, value cases, and delivery roadmaps • Monitor progress using industry best practices and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues • Maintain accurate project documentation, RAID logs, financials, and reporting • Act as the primary point of contact for project sponsors, senior leadership, and cross‑functional teams • Facilitate alignment across business and technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity of objectives and expectations • Lead project meetings, steering committees, and communication cadences • Drive a positive, collaborative team culture across global workstreams • Manage project budgets, including actuals, forecasts, and variance reporting • Support resource planning and capability development in line with Convatec’s strategic goals • Provide clear rationale for investment decisions and expected business value • Champion consistent ways of working across teams and regions • Conduct mid‑year and post‑implementation reviews to assess performance and embed learnings • Contribute to the evolution of project delivery frameworks, tools, and governance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ideally)
  • PMI/PMP or equivalent certification
  • Over 5 years of IT project management experience with a proven track record of delivering global projects
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies; familiarity with Scrum
  • Background in complex global organisations
  • Customer‑first approach with strong business acumen
  • Ability to translate between technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, fast‑paced environment
  • Flexible, agile mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience in Medical Devices or Pharma, especially with: SAP (Finance, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing, Warehousing) – ECC/S4HANA, QMS (Quality Management Systems), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), CRM platforms
