Data Architect, Data Modeler
Full Scale
• Create and edit logical and physical data models, XML schemas, and file formats using ER/Studio, XML Spy, or equivalent tools. • Build tables, define columns and data types, and perform database scripting (DDL, inserts, updates, data movement). • Analyze and profile data sources; develop source-to-target mappings with detailed transformations and business rules using Erwin Mapping Manager or similar. • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define transformation rules and data flow, ensuring mapping rules and data governance are followed. • Write SQL scripts to analyze, validate, or correct data, including complex stored procedures, views, and functions. • Monitor data quality, investigate issues, and execute remediation plans. • Provide guidance to teams on solutions, enterprise architecture best practices, and standards. • Review project deliverables for quality and compliance; recommend improvements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in data modeling, SQL scripting, database design, and backend data validation.
- Experience with enterprise data tools, BI platforms, and Hadoop ecosystems is preferred.
- Proficiency in data modeling for transactional and dimensional databases.
- Strong SQL skills, including writing DDL statements, stored procedures, and scripts for data movement.
- Experience creating source-to-target mappings, mapping tables, files, and XML schemas.
- Expertise in data profiling, validation, auditing, and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Azure databases (Fabric Lakehouse, Synapse), Hadoop platforms (Hive, HBase, Impala), and BI/analytics tools (Tableau).
- Knowledge of Data Quality concepts and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to explain complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our data pipeline architecture to support our analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives.
