Engineering Manager – Enterprise Integration, Architecture
First American (India)
• Manage and mentor a team of approximately 10+ engineers, majorly Middleware Engineers including Identity Management Engineers, Enterprise Architect, CMDB Administrator. • Ensure effective sprint planning, execution, and delivery across multiple workstreams. • Provide regular coaching, performance feedback, career development planning, and succession planning. • Foster a culture of engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Provide hands-on technical leadership and oversight across Middleware Engineers including Identity Management Engineers, Enterprise Architect, CMDB Administrator. • Act as a technical escalation point for complex integration, identity, and architecture challenges. • Guide teams in designing, building, and operating scalable, secure, and resilient services. • Lead development and operations of enterprise integration services using Tyk (API Management & Gateway) and MuleSoft (existing integrations and migration initiatives). • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, security controls, and compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
- 14+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- 4+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Technical Manager.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional engineering teams.
- Strong background in enterprise integration and middleware platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Tyk API Gateway / API Management.
- MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform or equivalent).
- Hands-on or leadership experience in Kafka-based on similar messaging and event streaming platforms.
- Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts and platforms.
- Solid understanding of API design and integration patterns.
- Event-driven and service-oriented architectures.
- Enterprise architecture principles.
- CMDB tools and IT service management concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence without authority across global teams.
- Comfortable working with senior leadership and FA counterparts.
- Experience operating in a matrixed, global organization.

Role Description The Technical Service Manager (TSM) will develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients within the technical and manufacturing fields. Identify opportunities to mentor existing workforce while developing and implementing strategies for growth and best business practices within assigned location and/or department.
