DevSecOps Platform Engineer

XIBIX Solutions GmbH

• Design and develop modern, secure cloud and platform solutions in agile DevSecOps environments • Build automations and implement custom security tooling for CI/CD pipelines • Create reusable security components and templates for CI/CD (GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab) • Integrate and operate SAST and DAST solutions within CI/CD pipelines • Advise clients on effective use of cloud security services, balancing effort, cost, maintenance, risk, and compliance • Identify common attack vectors and proactively mitigate security risks in applications and infrastructure • Act as a security advocate within engineering teams and support secure-by-design approaches

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in (Business) Computer Science or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in DevSecOps, application security, cloud, and infrastructure environments
  • Strong understanding of cloud architectures, software development processes, and security best practices
  • Hands-on experience integrating SAST and DAST into CI/CD pipelines, including building reusable security templates
  • Solid knowledge of common attack vectors, particularly OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
  • Programming experience for automation and custom tooling, ideally in Rust (alternatively Go, Python, C#, Java, or TypeScript)
  • Basic experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and/or GitLab
  • Structured, reliable work style and strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Business-fluent German and very good English skills

Hands-on experience deploying and operating containerized applications in secure or regulated environments. Experience with Kubernetes-based deployment patterns, including scaling, resilience, and secure configuration. SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $124,000 The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
