Mako Financial Technologies

• Oversee the entire sales cycle - from prospecting and demonstrating the product to negotiating terms and sealing the deal • Collaborate with our Lead Generation team to receive curated list of wealth firms earmarked as potential prospects • Identify other prospective firms • Use traditional outreach methods (calls/emails) and creative approaches (social media) to secure meetings • Deliver tailored product demos mapping capabilities to customer challenges • Work with Sales Engineer to draft detailed proposals • Handle objections and negotiate terms to drive deals to completion • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support client requirements • Consistently hit or exceed quota • Attend industry and networking events to increase Mako’s visibility in the marketplace • Accurately forecast pipeline and maintain CRM hygiene

Job Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of SaaS closing experience
  • Proven success as a hunter with measurable results
  • Strong knowledge of wealth and finance
  • Experience selling to mid-market businesses
  • Experience of closing 6-9 deals per quarter with a sales cycle of 3-6 months
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or finance from a major Canadian university
  • You have enthusiasm and great communication skills
  • Comfort selling technical products
  • Data-driven mentality
  • Preferred: strong Rolodex in wealth management
