• Understand our full ecosystem of users + platforms, and work to build an AI experience strategy that solves critical problems for each type of user in their workspace. • Help to evolve our experiences from mostly conversational AI to agentic and predictive AI, embedding the technology in various workflows in ways that don’t require question/answer. • Work across the design process at many levels: from the “30,000 ft” view to the interaction details that makes an experience feel sophisticated. • Work with visual designers to help shape the look & feel and voice & tone of AI across platforms. • Incorporate motion design and visual affordances that help the user know where AI has been applied and in what ways. • Work closely with PMs and engineers to understand requirements, possibilities, and limitations of the system, and craft release plans that build towards a shared vision. • Create clear documentation for AI-driven experiences so other teams and designers can work with your AI system. • Stay on top of AI trends and technological advancements, ensuring that our practices are at the forefront of the industry and continuously evolving. • Bring new processes, ideas, and ways of working back to the UX team and our product and engineering partners. • Be a strong and positive role model and mentor for a growing design team, fostering a culture of design excellence. • Chip in to other areas of work as needed. • Work to stand up new practices and lead aspects of team development to create an organization that is smart, talented, and has fun working together!

• Deeply understand our users — their problems, workflows, and jobs-to-be-done — to ensure we are always solving for the right thing. • Own and lead the design process from discovery to delivery, making key decisions on solution direction and details. • Drive the strategic direction of your domain in partnership with Product and Engineering, forecasting the impact of your solutions on users. • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a clear, consistent, and high-quality user experience. • As an AI-native design leader, you will balance cutting-edge technology with patient safety and accuracy across user-facing and backend experiences. • Define and own the user satisfaction and usability metrics for your solutions, ensuring the team is aligned on how to measure success. • Be a leader on the design team by mentoring other designers, leading design critiques, and driving initiatives that improve our culture, tools, and processes.

• Own design for security policy and compliance experiences – Lead end-to-end design for policy configuration, compliance reporting, and SDLC governance. Deliver usable solutions that solve immediate user problems while maintaining quality and consistency. • Translate technical complexity into clear experiences – Partner with security experts to understand policy configuration, compliance frameworks, and enforcement logic, then design experiences that make complex governance accessible for different user types. • Partner cross-functionally – Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and teams across multiple security product groups to shape priorities, scope MVCs, and ensure design quality and intent is maintained through development and implementation. • Deliver high craft quality – Demonstrate strong interaction design, visual design, and attention to detail. Participate in design reviews, give constructive feedback, and maintain high standards in your own work. • Contribute to the design system – Actively contribute to Pajamas by identifying reusable patterns, proposing new components, and ensuring your group's work extends and adheres to system standards. • Ground work in research – Conduct usability studies, competitor evaluations, and formative research. Collaborate with UX Research on problem validation and incorporate insights to fulfill user and business needs. • Communicate designs clearly – Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate your vision. Present your work to stakeholders, articulate your rationale, and build alignment on solutions. • Practice effective iteration – Break down designs to fit the release cadence. Review merge requests with user-facing changes. Advocate for and guide others in adopting effective iteration practices.
