• As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you will bridge the gap between business needs and solution delivery. Your primary responsibility will be to create compelling technical and business solutions for RFPs, RFIs, and proposals while ensuring cost-effective, competitive, and profitable pricing strategies. • Translate business needs into clear, compelling proposal content and solution blueprints. • Work closely with sales, proposal managers, and SMEs to ensure solutions are technically sound and aligned with business goals defined in the RFPs. • Develop pricing models and strategies that balance competitiveness, profitability, and client value. • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive benchmarks, and market pricing to refine proposal strategies. • Develop templates, playbooks, and best practices for future proposals and solution design. • Data & Analytics: Define strategies for data integration, analytics modernization, and AI-driven insights. • GenAI & Automation: Integrate Generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation into solutions where relevant. • Cloud & Infrastructure Modernization: Architect cloud-first, hybrid, and multi-cloud solutions supporting digital transformation. • Security & Compliance: Ensure robust security frameworks, compliance standards, and identity/access management in proposed solutions. • Digital Transformation: Align solutions with emerging tech trends (IoT, low-code/no-code platforms, enterprise mobility, API ecosystems).
Job Requirements
- 10+ years in solution architecture, proposal solutioning, or pre-sales roles.
- 5+ years Experience with RFP/RFI responses, solution design, and pricing models
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• MDU Sales Coaches manage and supervise FiOS Outside Sales Specialists who serve as the primary point of contact for contracted/assigned properties within the region. • Responsible for revenue maximization at assigned property by: Overall: Training and developing a high yielding field sales team and region that meets and exceeds sales targets set forth by Verizon Telecom MDU Resource Managers will coordinate with Verizon Enhanced Communities (VEC) Project Management team to ensure care and attention to network deployment and service availability; with VEC Marketing on program implementation and support, and with local/Regional Marketing to provide an additional on-site presence as appropriate 90%. • Work with Contractors to increase revenue and FiOS penetration within the MDU market by: Effectively manage all assigned properties by managing on-going engagement at the property level and sales performance vs. sales opportunity. Work with internal and external partners to coordinate roles and responsibilities with VEC and VZ resources to ensure service activation and delivery timelines are met. Work remotely with Contractors, on-site property management and staff to promote subscriber growth, including launching of properties, initial and refresher training of staff, coordination of on-site marketing and promotion efforts, use of program resources including demonstration systems, kiosks, etc. • Increase subscriber growth by maintaining productive relationships and encouraging sales through regular and effective contacts with Contractors and regional support. • Travel to property sites within the assigned territory. Develop strategic marketing best practices and assist with communicating and executing at under-performing properties. Assess property performance and individual sales performance on a regular basis. Drive improvement plans, where necessary for individuals or properties within the MDU Resource Manager’s assigned territory. • 10% - Metrics and Reporting: Generate all necessary reports and database management for assigned properties. Updating property module assignments in Verizon Database to assure proper alignment of FiOS Outside Sales Specialists to Properties. MDU Sales Coaches should promote Verizon core values and principles, maintain and expand company and industry knowledge base, focus on Verizon customers (Owners/Developers and end users), assure quality, and exercise creativity and innovation. • Moreover, the MDU Sales Coach is expected to take personal accountability, and drive overall profitability results. Manage day-to-day activities for Account Management team, including: Provide strategic direction of Account Management team and implement supporting tactics Establish objectives and develop metrics for tracking and measuring results. Coordinate efforts and ensure activities are congruent with peer VEC work-groups. Coordinate the development of tools required to effectively manage/monitor the business. Assign case loads and measure productivity. Forecast resource requirements and plan accordingly.
