Senior Data Engineer

• Design and implement data processing pipelines according to requirements, including steps for data transformation, validation, and mapping • Build necessary components to connect with various data sources and destinations, such as APIs, SQL databases, S3 buckets, and SFTP servers • Update and modify existing data flows within the ETL tool as needed • Conduct comprehensive testing and validation to ensure the accuracy of data transformations, verification, and final delivery • Create and execute unit and regression tests • Provide post-deployment support and resolve any issues that arise
Job Requirements
- Advanced English in speaking and writing (you will be working with international clients only)
- 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience with ETL processes
- Background in managing and controlling data-centric processes
- Experience collaborating with a team of developers using agile methods to achieve targeted project outcomes
- Strong ability to comprehend and apply coding structures and logical workflows
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Expertise in designing and overseeing data engineering workflows and pipelines
- Familiarity with Apache NiFi or Python is a plus

• The Data engineer - IV is responsible for managing and operating upon Tableau, Tableau bridge server, Databricks, Dbt, SSRS, SSIS, AWS DWS, AWS APP Flow, PowerBI. • Leads operational coverage: • Resolving pipeline issues / Proactive monitoring for sensitive batches / RCA and retrospection of issues and documenting defects. • Design, build, test and deploy fixes to non-production environment for Customer testing. • Work with Customer to deploy fixes on production upon receiving Customer acceptance of fix. • Cost / Performance optimization and Audit / Security including any associated infrastructure changes. • Knowledge Management: Create/update Knowledgebase/ runbooks as needed. • Governance: Watch all the configuration changes to batches and infrastructure (cloud platform) along with mapping it with proper documentation and aligning resources. • Change Management: Align resources for on-demand changes and coordinate with stakeholders as required. • Incident Management and Problem Management, Root cause Analysis, coming up with preventive measures and recommendations such as enhancing monitoring or systematic changes as needed.
