AWS DevOps Engineer
STADIUM
• Designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure. • Architecting systems that can handle sudden and massive traffic surges. • Owning architectural decisions, trade-offs, and outcomes in production environments. • Ensuring fault tolerance, high availability, and disaster recovery. • Building and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). • Automating provisioning, scaling, recovery, and operational workflows. • Designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines for safe, repeatable, zero-downtime deployments. • Partnering with engineering teams to evolve infrastructure and deployment standards. • Implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability for proactive issue detection. • Leading incident response, root cause analysis, and long-term system improvements. • Owning cloud security posture and enforcing best practices. • Monitoring and optimizing cloud costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
Job Requirements
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
- Proven experience operating and improving high-traffic, high-availability systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and system design.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong Linux system administration skills.
- Proficiency in scripting and at least one programming language.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to clearly explain past decisions, trade-offs, failures, and learnings.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments without rigid SOPs.
- Strong ownership mindset and problem-solving skills.
- AWS certifications.
- Experience in fast-growing or high-scale environments.
- Experience supporting modern web applications.
