Associate File Formatting Engineer

Questel

• Reporting to the File Formatting Team Leader and part of Questel’s File Formatting Team. • Format, recreate, design, and edit documents combining text and graphics. • Proactively report the status and progress of tasks and projects. • Ensure standards of high quality and speed are met. • Follow good practices to safeguard the information of the company. • Prepare documents for translation and estimate formatting time. • Conduct final quality control and assurance of File formatting projects. • Maximize the use of file formatting tools and report issues to the development team. • Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience in languages or translation, preferred.
  • Elementary skills in Adobe/Photoshop and/or file formatting software and digital content design.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word.
  • Intermediate level of English.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and soft skills.
  • Quick learner.
  • Highly motivated and willing to take initiative and complete assignments.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Requires collaboration with other team members to complete tasks.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Willing to work occasionally during non-standard hours.
