• The Partner Architect - ExtraHop serves as a strategic technical advisor and enablement leader, bridging Optiv’s sales, services, and partner ecosystems. • This role drives pre-sales excellence through deep technical expertise, hands-on solution demonstrations, and enablement programs that enhance both internal teams and client outcomes. • The Partner Architect will champion assigned partner technologies—showcasing use cases, aligning solutions with client goals, and ensuring seamless integration across Optiv’s portfolio. • Deliver detailed presentations and demonstrations of partner technologies to internal teams and clients. • Develop and maintain technical sales tools and documentation, including sizing guidelines, best practice and integration guides, and solution design and implementation documentation. • Lead use case development and create reusable demonstration assets. • Build and execute enablement sessions and workshops for sales and technical teams. • Define and document solution architectures, product matrices, and roadmap alignment for partner technologies. • Validate service offerings and scoping for technical accuracy and consistency. • Support client retention and technology optimization through advisory and best-practice assessments. • Conduct client workshops to maximize solution adoption and identify upsell opportunities. • Serve as an escalation point for complex partner-related services and solution challenges. • Shadow partner engineering and internal consulting teams periodically to stay aligned on evolving capabilities. • Contribute to internal communities of practice and knowledge-sharing initiatives. • Maintain expert-level technical certifications in assigned partner technologies.

• Develop catalogs of rooms, groupings, and massings designed as reusable components with defined relationships, constraints, and configuration logic • Establish the rules of assembly — what connects, what's constrained, what produces structurally sound and aesthetically coherent homes • Translate deep residential design intuition into structured, repeatable patterns that can be systematized • Partner with plan development leads to ensure the design system produces homes that are buildable, code-compliant, and market-ready • Contribute to standard details, design guidelines, and modeling best practices that support automation and scalability • Help define a new programming language, in effect, for how homes are created

Role Description The Principal Architect is responsible for defining, driving, and helping to implement the technical roadmap across STARLIMS Engineering teams. This role also is responsible for ensuring the successful design, development, and delivery of innovative products and solutions. This role requires a balance of deep hands-on technical expertise, strong leadership, and business acumen to align engineering strategy with organizational goals. - Technical Leadership & Strategy - Work hands on with all engineering teams to define and drive the engineering technical roadmap in alignment with company objectives. - Mentor and inspire engineering teams across multiple products. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Technical Oversight - Provide technical direction for product architecture, system design, scalability, and security. - Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage. - Ensure engineering excellence through code quality, automation, DevOps, AI, and best practices. - Execution & Delivery - Oversee the delivery of high-quality software products on time and within budget. - Implement engineering processes and methodologies that optimize productivity and quality. - Partner with Product Management, Professional Services and other business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables. - Team Development - Help recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent. - Encourage knowledge sharing and cross-functional skill development. - Accountability & Governance - Own engineering KPIs, metrics, and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability. - Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and quality standards. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in a Principal Architect role. - Proven track record of helping to lead large-scale engineering teams and delivering complex products. - Strong technical foundation in software development, architecture, cloud infrastructure, and modern engineering practices. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience in helping to scale engineering organizations in a high-growth or enterprise environment. - Defining / executing technical roadmap. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a strategic mindset. - Proficiency in modern programming languages and concepts including: - TSQL, PL SQL - JavaScript, C#, HTML5, jQuery - NET Framework, JavaScript Frameworks. - Data structures and algorithms. - Source control systems: Git/TFVC. - Performance and Scalability patterns. - Software Architecture. - CI/CD knowledge. - Ability to work cross-functionally / globally. Preferred Skills - Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy regulations. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Education - Computer Science or similar engineering discipline including Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering is required. 10% travel as needed.
