Principal Architect, Infrastructure

• Working with our clients to understand their requirements and technical challenges. Using this input you will develop solutions using cloud technologies and evangelize the value of your solution to the client team. • You will work with clients to develop estimates for the skills required and timelines to deliver Zencore projects. You should be able to turn these estimates into a clear proposal or SoW. • You will act as the lead technical member of the project team, providing delivery and technical oversight. You are responsible for keeping the technical delivery on track and unblocking when things are stuck. While this is an architecture role, we expect you to be a hands on practitioner; you should be comfortable doing both architecture and execution. • You will act as a mentor inside of the engineering organizations. You are expected to be an expert in your technical domain, and you should be able to teach and enable others in order to up-skill the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud native architectures based on modern SRE principles and best practices.
  • Hands on skills working with a major public cloud platform in a production setting, ideally GCP.
  • Comfortable working with common DevSecOps practices and tooling.
  • Ability to go deeper than most on one or more domains - Software Architecture, Tooling/Pipelines/DevSecOps, Kubernetes, Databases, and/or Networking.
  • Ability to learn quickly, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in Cloud, DevSecOps, and Software Development
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex engagements.
  • Strong communication skills; able to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Comfortable with being on video in meetings internally and with clients
