Bookkeeper

Role Description This role would maintain our QBO accounts for our two franchises and our independent kitchen remodel business. Focuses would be on: - Regular reconciliation - Journal entries - Auditing chart of accounts - Accounts payable entry - Light work with accounts receivable analysis (no contact with customers) - Monthly reconciliation Responsibilities include: - Daily sync of Banking accounts and matching of all incoming transactions - Entry of incoming invoices, coded to correct accounts and projects, and verified to have correct amounts and terms entered - Organization of bookkeeper email - Creation of journal entries, as needed, to balance chart of accounts and transfer items between individual books - Costing out of projects once they are completed - Month end close, which will include a list of tasks around balancing accounts and verifying all projects and vendors are up to date - Regular audits of chart of accounts to verify that correct information is entered and any cross-book accounts match up - Some report running and tracking of metrics including AR, AP, P&L, etc - Analytical review of accounts and trends is a plus Qualifications - Familiar with QuickBooks, preferred knowledge of QuickBooks Online - Comfortable with running and reading reports in excel format - High attention to detail and accuracy - Good organization skills - Strong communication and comfortable with follow up with emails, phone calls, or virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom, etc) Requirements - Voice/Video Recording is REQUIRED - Your application CANNOT be considered without a voice or video recording.
