Regional Analyst – SDV, E/E, Semiconductor
S&P Global
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on semiconductors, advanced electronics architectures and SDV (Software Defined Vehicles). • Research the supply chain for centralized E/E Architectures and Systems-on-chips (SoCs). • Provide insights and forecasts on market trends and technology developments within the SDV and electronics spaces. • Build and maintain a strong industry network with car makers, suppliers (from software to system to chip level), and tech companies in North America to gather valuable insights and collaborate on research initiatives. • Collaborate with global teams to integrate regional insights into broader research initiatives. • Work closely with the local sales team to support business development efforts in the region by providing market intelligence and strategic insights. • Present findings to internal stakeholders and external clients to support strategic decision-making. • Contribute to publications and reports that highlight the impact of SDV, centralized E/E Architectures and semiconductor technologies on the automotive industry. • Engage with industry leaders and participate in relevant conferences to stay updated on the latest advancements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in the automotive electronics industry or in market research, with a focus on business development or market analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
- Experience working with or alongside sales teams to support business development.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing industry landscape and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
