Job Description
Finance Systems Manager
n8n
• Your main goal will be to design, own, and scale Finance-specific systems and workflows that enable accurate reporting, efficient operations, and sustainable growth at n8n. • Own and scale the Finance systems landscape • Own Finance-specific systems end to end (ERP, billing, AP, FP&A), including configuration, administration, integrations, and continuous improvement. • Lead system selection and implementation for Finance tooling, from requirements definition to rollout and adoption. • Establish clear governance, documentation, and change management practices aligned with company-wide principles and processes. • Drive Finance-owned automation and integrations • Own Finance automation use cases end to end, including discovery, scoping, and prioritization, ensuring delivery either directly for simple use cases or in partnership with the Automation team for more complex ones. • Act as the primary Finance interface to the Automation team, translating Finance requirements into clear technical inputs and contributing to integration design decisions. • Ensure Finance systems integrate cleanly into the broader tooling ecosystem without creating parallel automation or ownership structures. • Own Finance reporting requirements and system enablement • Own Finance reporting requirements and related system configuration, ensuring Finance systems are correctly set up to measure and report core financial metrics. • Translate Finance and accounting requirements into system logic, configuration, and reporting structures. • Partner closely with Analytics Engineering and the central Data team to support shared Finance data models where needed, while remaining accountable for Finance definitions and correctness. • Replace spreadsheet-driven Finance reporting with automated dashboards and reports using SQL and BI tools.
