• Manage development sprints, code reviews, and deployment cycles to ensure consistent progress. • Work closely with Product Management, UX/Design, SRE, and Data teams to foster a culture of product excellence and mutual respect. • Take charge of development tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions to support quality and speed. • Assess new technologies and lead forward-thinking software architecture and development strategies. • Lead software projects from initiation to completion, focusing on feature quality, timely delivery, and operational readiness. • Attract, retain, and nurture a standout engineering team while defining clear goals and a collaborative culture. • Establish swift feedback loops with business and product teams to ensure efficient feature iteration. • Cultivate connections with external partners and vendors to align with product development priorities. • Stay up to date with current development practices and leverage AI to support your work.
Job Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience leading teams with a proven success in driving feature initiatives
- Extensive experience in day-to-day development operations and creating strategies that align with business goals
- Hands-on experience with modern software architecture, microservices, and API design
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or comparable modern languages for building robust, scalable applications and infrastructure
- Excellent skills in working with diverse, global teams and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders
- A passion for guiding both individual contributors and leaders within a diverse engineering organization
- Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure, container orchestration using Kubernetes for scaling and deployment, and administration of applications within Linux environments
- Familiarity with distributed systems, high-traffic applications, and standards like GDPR, PCI, or SOC2.
