Job Description

Accounting Coordinator

Shadow Light Studios

• Become the financial gatekeeper: Take full ownership of all payroll processing, contractor payments, vendor invoices, expense reports, and client invoicing — ensuring every transaction is accurate, timely, and compliant. • Eliminate the chaos: Your mission is to centralize financial information that currently lives in multiple people's heads and scattered systems. You'll create the single source of truth that removes confusion, prevents errors, and gives leadership complete visibility into cash flow. • Drive accuracy and consistency: Process payments with precision, maintain meticulous records, and ensure zero errors across all financial operations. Your attention to detail keeps the entire company running smoothly. • Master the systems: Own and maintain the Quickbooks Online system, the 2026 Projections workbook, and the Finance drive — ensuring everything stays updated, reconciled, and audit-ready. • Collaborate with leadership: Work directly with key stakeholders to understand cash flow needs, provide financial insights, and help shape strategic decisions through accurate reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience managing full accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense processing.
  • Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or equivalent accounting software), and strong Excel/spreadsheet skills for financial tracking and reconciliation.
  • Advanced organizational abilities with the discipline to manage multiple payment processes simultaneously while maintaining zero-error standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills — you can translate financial information clearly for non-finance stakeholders and work collaboratively across departments.
  • A systems-focused mindset — you naturally identify inefficiencies and design processes that prevent problems before they happen.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of complex responsibilities without constant supervision.
  • A commitment to confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
