Role Description We are looking for a full-time YouTube Video Editor to join their remote content team. You will work on a fast-growing YouTube channel with 45K+ subscribers and a 16K+ member community, focused on AI tools, vibe coding, AI agents, automation, AI websites, and AI apps. Our content consists mainly of explainer-style tutorials with talking-head footage, screen recordings, and animations. Recordings are done using a teleprompter, so raw footage is clean and easy to edit. You will work with a remote team of 5–10 people, including scriptwriters, content creators, editors, thumbnail designers, and project managers. Our time-zone-optimized workflow: - Asia: Scriptwriting - Europe: Recording - South America: Editing Once footage is uploaded, your workday begins. Each video is expected to be completed within 8–9 hours and submitted via Frame.io for review. The role is remote but needs to be based in D.C. We are looking for a producer with extensive audio skills, who is detail-oriented, already experienced with or willing to learn newsletter building, and an eager collaborator. The ideal candidate has a sharp ear (and eye) for quality and thrives in deadline-driven environments. Deadline to apply: March 17, 2026 Key Responsibilities - Assemble and finalize podcast episodes in Adobe Audition, including adjusting effects, EQ’ing, leveling track grains, addressing reverb, sibilance, and background noise as needed, and running episodes through Match Loudness. - Apply and manage AUD effects in Audition with precision and consistency. - Provide feedback and flag issues such as choppiness, overprocessing, or underprocessing in mixes. - Use tools like Izotope (preferred) to enhance audio quality when necessary. - Mix ads using Audition and Izotope effects as needed. - Work within our CMS and ESP to build and schedule newsletters, ensuring that the copy (written and edited by others) and photos are presented clearly for the reader. - Work periodically with the managing editor, senior executive producer, and reporters on ideas to better refine the presentation of the newsletter. - Potentially use Descript for editing video episodes down the line.  - Potentially create thumbnails and upload/schedule video episodes to YouTube.

Responsibilities - Collect references for each topic/concept and define a clear quality benchmark (target level). - Test and select the best available models (LLMs + image/video generation) and settings for the format. - Build templates inside the tool: step structure, prompts, parameters, constraints, and quality criteria. - Optimize outputs for production quality: visuals, pacing, artifact cleanup, readability, and retention dynamics. - Write a short “how-to” guide (1–2 pages) for AI creators: what to do, what not to do, and how to quality-check results. - Support AI creators during initial execution of your templates: help them reach the quality bar and collect best-case examples. - Document best practices and common failure cases to enable scaling.
