Senior Product Designer – Design Systems

Xometry

• Design and refine UI components, patterns, and foundations (color, typography, spacing, layout) within Xometry’s design system • Translate product and platform needs into scalable, reusable system solutions • Partner closely with Design Systems Engineering to ensure components are feasible, well-documented, and production-ready • Support product designers by helping them use the system effectively and consistently • Create and maintain clear documentation, usage guidelines, and examples in Figma and supporting tools • Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from the Design Systems Lead • Help identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement within the system

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, with some experience contributing to or working within a design system
  • Strong visual, interaction, and UI design skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience designing component-based systems in Figma
  • Ability to think in terms of patterns, scalability, and reuse
  • Comfort collaborating closely with engineers and incorporating technical constraints
  • Clear communication skills and openness to feedback.
