Role Description Spotify is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join the Spotify Advertising Team. Our teams are responsible for building and maintaining critical systems that power advertising data, brand safety, content review, and AI-driven ad experiences across Spotify. Qualifications - You are an experienced Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience. - You have experience building and maintaining APIs and services at scale. - You have strong experience with Java and Spring. - You have strong experience with JavaScript. Additional experience with tools and technologies such as ReactJS, NodeJS, NextJS, and GraphQL are a plus. - You have some experience with data engineering concepts and tools (e.g., Scala, large-scale data pipelines). - You have experience with GCP, distributed systems, machine learning platforms, or generative AI integrations. - You have a strong grasp of design patterns, data structures, and distributed and web architectures. - You care deeply about observability, reliability, and quality, and you apply engineering best practices including testing automation. - You have experience leading or contributing to large codebase refactors, including microservices or micro-frontend architectures. - You are autonomous, take ownership of your work, and actively drive your personal growth. - You value team success over personal success and enjoy uplifting and mentoring other engineers. - You are a strong communicator and empathetic collaborator who can anticipate partner needs and work effectively across disciplines.
