Senior Interior Designer
JLL
• Lead interior design efforts for mid-to-large scale commercial workplace projects (e.g., corporate offices, tech HQs, multi-tenant fit-outs). • Develop space planning concepts, material palettes, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) specifications, and finish schedules in alignment with client briefs and brand guidelines. • Produce high-quality design documentation including plans, elevations, details, and 3D visualizations using Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, or similar tools. • Coordinate with MEP, structural, and architectural disciplines to ensure integrated, buildable solutions. • Conduct site visits during construction to review progress, resolve RFIs, and ensure design intent is maintained. • Mentor junior designers and support design quality control across the PDS portfolio. • Stay current with industry trends in workplace strategy, WELL/LEED standards, and innovative interior systems. • Collaborate with procurement and cost consultants to align designs with budget constraints without compromising quality or vision.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in commercial interior design, preferably within a project delivery, A&D firm, or real estate services environment.
- Proficiency in Revit (required), AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Enscape, Lumion, or similar rendering tools is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards (e.g., ADA), and sustainable design practices (LEED AP or WELL AP preferred).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Professional registration or NCIDQ certification is highly desirable.
