Junior C++ Developer (Analyst)

• Perform technical analysis of requests based on the product conception/design; • Plan and implement software requirements in accordance with the company's quality standards; • Understand and follow current software development methodologies, criteria, and processes; • Design and execute unit and integration tests to ensure product quality and prevent future failures/bugs; • Prepare technical documentation for product-related solutions and assist with product documentation; • Diagnose and fix product defects; • Monitor trends and technologies to contribute to process improvements related to the company's product development; • Monitor system performance to identify bottlenecks; • Automate routine processes and tasks to support operations; • Train other teams on delivered features to disseminate knowledge.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields;
  • Experience with the C++ programming language;
  • Emphasis on code quality, scalability, and integrity;
  • Microservices architecture experience;
  • REST APIs (using C++ frameworks or integrating with services);
  • Git (version control);
  • CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery);
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Role Description We are looking for remote-based Senior Backend Engineer in the central or eastern timezones in the US to help design and scale the systems that power the Goodwin platform. The platform is already powering real charter operations today, but we’re continuing to expand it with new capabilities across sourcing, payments, and operational workflows. Engineers at Goodwin play a key role in designing the systems that support this next phase of the platform. Our backend handles the logic behind: - Aircraft sourcing and availability - Pricing and proposal generation - Real-time payments and banking workflows - Trip lifecycle management - Integrations across brokers, operators, financial systems, and more These systems must be fast, reliable, and secure. In aviation, a delayed response or missing data can cost real deals.
