• Provide effective counsel to solve short term problems • Provide input to help define scope and investment requirements for larger capital projects • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of toolbox elements to decrease demand on human and capital resources • Execute Altium Packaging strategies and specific activities to positively impact safety culture while employing improvements to reduce risk and safety issues • Provide counsel on all knowledge areas through above stated standards and/or direct support • Responsible for assigned projects and day-to-day support of plant utility and infrastructure systems across entire network of Altium Packaging Plants • Provide technical support to Plant Operations and Capital Project Managers regarding plant utility and infrastructure systems • Lead the discovery effort to develop written goals and objectives that resolve the needs • Develop and execute capital projects that accomplish stated goals and objectives within the plant infrastructure and utility disciplines • Assess and improve current tools within the Plant Engineering toolbox to provide world class support • Develop, rollout, and maintain suitable Technical Standards as they apply to Altium Packaging’s utility and infrastructure systems • Lead upwards to drive alignment and support throughout Altium Packaging’s organization

Job Requirements

  • Degreed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
  • 3 -10 yrs experience working for a national manufacturing or production operation
  • Strong technical understanding of plant utility systems
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of power distribution systems and Arc Flash compliance within a manufacturing or production facility (Electrical Engineer)
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of compressed air systems, chilled water systems, cooling tower systems, water treatment systems, and HVAC systems within a manufacturing or production facility (Mechanical Engineer)
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple and competing priorities
  • Strong user of Microsoft Office suite, with particular strength in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of AutoCAD drafting software and Microsoft Project scheduling software
  • Experience in directing, leading, and influencing a cross-functional team of technical and non-technical professionals
