Field Service Engineer

• Responsible for customer satisfaction while performing installation, support, and ongoing technical service in the field for various types of slot machines and related products • Install, convert, issue resolution, repair and / or de – install as vital Gaming Machines, Signs, and gaming controllers • Responsible for the coordination of all installations and visitation schedules in conjunction with the Dept Head • Pre-plan, schedule and perform services activities assigned to geographic territory • Provide direct customer support for training, parts purchasing advice and preventative maintenance programs • Provide assistance to customers by telephone or in person regarding technical challenges • Liaison with customer representatives and management regarding product performance, service or installation scheduling, training, and operational issues • Lead service activities and service cases to ensure timely and successful resolution of customer concern(s) • Maintain a neat and tidy workplace at customer sites as well as monthly reporting on field issues and installations
Job Requirements
- Electronics qualifications preferred
- Industry related experience preferred
- Demonstrate problem resolution skills and ability to learn
- Successfully completed professional training courses or industry certification, if applicable
- Understanding of all Microsoft Office Suite products
- In depth understanding of Digital Electronics
- Familiarity with networking technologies and issue resolutions
- Must be organised, detailed, goal and results driven
- Must acquire gaming licenses in approved jurisdictions like Nevada Gaming Control Board and hold a valid passport and driver’s license

What You’ll Be Doing: - Be involved with new development projects as a field representative to understand impacts of new development activities on existing product lines as well as how new products will be supported once available to the field. - Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product development and engineering to incorporate user feedback and insights into product enhancements and updates. - Provide field feedback to product development teams for inclusion in development efforts. - Review and provide technical and professional feedback on technical publication documents and training programs. - Create and update Standard Work Documentation. - Provide updates and insights to new development efforts to field support teams. - Act as initial subject matter expert on engineering development efforts and guide learning of field support teams. - Interact with customers and Solutions and Support Centers to garner feedback on products. - Analyze data from automated truck logs to identify trends and troubleshooting steps. - Provide training to other employees, partners, advocates, and customers. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science. - Competent in applicable PC applications. - Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to present technical material to a technically diverse audience as well as a non-technically diverse audience. - Ability to be on a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule. - Works well in a team or individual environment.
