Platform Engineer – Java Development Focus

• Contribute to building business solutions through software development; • Incorporate non-functional requirements into business solutions, such as performance, availability, security, and maintainability; • Ensure application pipelines follow continuous delivery best practices to secure successful deployment, operation, performance, and stability of applications; • Collaborate with the development team to ensure applications comply with the organization’s architectural standards and guidelines; • Support third-level application support and operations, triage issues, and route them to development or platform teams as needed;
Job Requirements
- Hands-on experience in software development (Java);
- Practical experience with software architecture and engineering patterns;
- Experience building systems in a microservices environment; understanding the building blocks of resilient and scalable software and infrastructure;
- Knowledge of AWS cloud;
- Familiarity with container technologies and orchestrators such as ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes;
- Experience or familiarity with Linux system administration;
- A curious, proactive professional who is open to knowledge sharing and new challenges.
